Headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana, and guided by third generation leadership, the core group of Beam, Longest and Neff, L.L.C. (BLN) partners and associates strive to excel as leaders within the engineering and environmental community. BLN’s history and experience has helped them define a clear vision to work toward. From humble beginnings, BLN has endeavored to grow into one of the largest firms in the State of Indiana. They are proud of their progress, but are more pleased by the quality of services provided and the national reputation established and maintained.
Nationally, BLN is recognized for their quality of work on large projects. They have been instrumental in the Louisville-Southern Indiana Ohio River Bridges Project, the largest transportation project ever undertaken by both the States of Indiana and Kentucky. Additionally, their US Route 9 new alignment project in West Virginia consists of nine (9) contracts totaling $150 million dollars. Of this, $52 million is designated for a new three-span (400’, 600’, 400’) steel deck truss bridge, 84’-6” feet wide, 1762 feet in total bridge length, with a vertical clearance of 200 feet to the Shenandoah River.
BLN is able to complete projects of this magnitude by attracting and retaining highly talented staff. BLN emphasizes the recruitment of top environmental analysts, engineers and specialists who share the same goals and values as the company. They work hard, they work together, and in doing so, achieve quality results. Being a full-service company has its advantages. Through open communication among departments, quality standards are maintained on fast-track schedules.
